Projects
The builder-grade cherry kitchen with laminate countertops was not up to par with the rest of this grand Mendham home. The homeowners wanted to change the look of their kitchen, while also upgrading the appliances and finishes. The result is a beautiful neutral kitchen that will look top notch for many years to come.
This country kitchen in Madison, NJ had plenty of space, but still, the existing layout provided little storage or counter space. After working with one of our Designers, we planned a new kitchen layout that would double the counter space and drastically improve storage. Even better, the dated country kitchen would be swapped out for a sleeker, modern look.
Once all the materials were on site, Monk’s began by removing the current kitchen. When this was completed, the new windows were installed in the kitchen and butler’s pantry. The existing parquet floor was removed and replaced with hardwood floors. Our flooring crew installed, stained and sealed the oak floors on site.
Considering the time spent in your kitchen, an inconvenient kitchen layout can be very annoying. This Madison, NJ kitchen contained some poorly placed items that made cooking and cleaning more difficult than it needed to be. The homeowners wanted a better designed kitchen so they could truly enjoy the heart of the home. So, they turned to the designers at the Monk’s Kitchen and Bath Design Studio. Our designers specialize in kitchen planning and were able to reconfigure this kitchen into a fully functioning space.
The homeowner of this lovely Morristown, NJ home is originally from Iceland. Tired of her traditional dark brown kitchen cabinetry and beige countertops, she wanted a change to something modern and bright. So change is what she got!
The Bedminster, NJ kitchen that we remodeled was hurting for additional storage and counter space. Luckily there was plenty of space in the room to add cabinetry and countertops. Monk’s Designers totally redesigned the existing L-shaped kitchen. We reconfigured the layout and created a G-shaped kitchen with island. Now this family has plenty of pantry space, countertops, and seating.
This Chatham NJ kitchen, along with the adjoining rooms, were renovated by our team at Monk’s Home Improvements. The homeowner wanted to improve the flow between the kitchen, dining room and family room. By painting and repurpose her existing cabinetry, we were able to open the layout and achieve a brighter, lighter, space.
In order to increase the size of their kitchen, Monk’s extended the back of this Madison, NJ home. We reconfigured the placement of the bathroom and added a coat closet and new portico with stairs to the driveway.
The homeowners were looking for an updated space, but also a change in style. The new kitchen was designed to be a comfortable space in the home, including a lot of great warm tones.
This Mendham, NJ homeowner wanted to brighten up her dark 1970s kitchen and improve the efficiency of the layout. Along with the new items, the homeowner wanted to salvage her wide-plank hardwood floors and exposed beams. These beautiful original details were to be incorporated into the remodel. Last on the wish list was a special high-powered custom extraction hood.
